JULIAN LENNON'S "IMAGINE" NFT
Julian Lennon's "Imagine" interpretation will be released as an NFT on YellowHeart marketplace
John Lennon's first son, Julian Lennon, will release a musical NFT that includes the complete cover's recording of "Imagine," featuring him accompanied by Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme on guitar and backing vocals, and a personal audio-video narration of his father's song, along with a new artwork explanation of the reasons for choosing to perform his father's famous song.
NFT is available on YellowHeart and can be purchased for 11 days for $11, giving holders the possibility to own a pice of history forever.
Lennon's historic interpretation of the song was performed for Global Citizen's Stand Up for Ukraine Social Media Rally in April 2022, which raised $10.1 billion for refugees.
A portion of the proceeds from these NFT sales will be donated to Ukraine refugee relief through Lennon's nonprofit, The White Feather Foundation.
