LAS VEGAS LOOP RIDE DOGECOIN

You can now pay your loop ride with Dogecoin

The Boring Company (TBC), Elon Musk's tunnel-building company, has begun allowing customers to pay for rides along its Las Vegas transit system using Dogecoin (DOGE).

The new payment option via BitPay went into effect on July 1st, one day after the new Loop station opened at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The new Loop station is located beneath Resorts World Las Vegas and is the fourth stop on the 1.7-mile-long Las Vegas Convention Center Loop. Using the underground tunnel system, commuters can take Tesla electric vehicles between stops.

This is a far cry from the original plans for the Las Vegas Hyperloop, which involved using magnetic propulsion to move high-speed passenger capsules through a pressurized tunnel system. The company is still working to implement driverless vehicles in its Las Vegas transportation system in the future.
