NIKE NFT SEALER SOLD FOR $134,000...
On April 22th, Nike announced on Twitter, Discord and other social media platforms that owners could link their wallets, where they had stored NFTs, to the RTFKT site to "open" their boxes.
Inside, owners found a Nike Dunk Genesis Cryptokick, along with a glowing vial that, when placed on the virtual sneaker's tongue, gives the sneaker its final appearance.
The skins also determine the value of the sneaker. Owners are randomly assigned one of eight skins, from the most common, "Human," in fuchsia and black, to the rarest, "Alien," in purple and green.
Their value in the market varies widely depending on scarcity.
There are 5,661 Human vials available on OpenSea, with a minimum price of 0.59 Ether (about $1,154) and only 18 Alien vials, with a minimum price of 90 Ether (about $176,000).
Owners hope to be able to change them as new skins are released and also wear them in online games and the metaverse.
