Bitcoin has taken the cryptocurrency market by storm. Today it is the largest and best-known digital currency. Many large companies accept Bitcoin as a legitimate source of funds.


The most popular companies accepting payments in Bitcoin worldwide today are:


Wikipedia -the company that runs the world's largest open-source encyclopedia- accepts donations in Bitcoin. Payment is made through BitPay.


The company Microsoft allows the use of Bitcoin to top up one's Microsoft account. In the past, the company stopped accepting cryptocurrencies, but shortly thereafter resumed the service.


AT&T, the first major U.S. mobile operator provides a cryptocurrency payment option to customers through BitPay.


According to local news reports, Burger King stores in Venezuela have announced a partnership with Cryptobuyer to accept cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment. Customers can pay in Bitcoin, Dash, Litecoin, Ethereum, and Tether.

In addition, the German branch of Burger King began accepting Bitcoin on its website and mobile app on September 3, 2019. However, this is more of a marketing gimmick that does not allow you to buy in a real store; you can only pay with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash by ordering delivery online through the delivery service Lieferservice, which works with restaurants across the country.
