NOVA LABS & T-MOBILE WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY

NOVA LABS forges agreement with T-MOBILE to launch "world's 1st mobile service" powered by CRYPTOCURRENCY

Nova Labs announced that it has signed an exclusive multi-year agreement with T-Mobile, the U.S. 5G leader.

The announcement comes as Nova Labs plans to launch Helium Mobile, the world's first cryptocurrency-powered mobile service that will allow subscribers to earn cryptocurrency rewards for using the network while saving money.

Through the Nova Labs service, Helium Mobile subscribers can choose to earn MOBILE token rewards for sharing data on coverage quality by helping to identify Helium dead spots across the country and save money on cellular data plans.

The commercial service is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2023 and will provide nationwide 5G coverage in the United States.

The Helium network is known as the fastest growing decentralized wireless network providing open-sourced coverage worldwide. Since the network's launch in 2019 to support the Internet of Things (IoT), more than 900,000 hotspots using Helium Long Fi have been deployed worldwide, with an astonishing 1,000 units added every day. There are currently more than 2,500 Helium hotspots active with 5G in 889 U.S. cities since launch in August 2022.

Amir Haleem, CEO of Nova Labs and founder of Helium, states that:

"Nova Labs is committed to building a decentralized network. Our new agreement with T-Mobile gives our subscribers nationwide 5G coverage and allows us to offer mobile products and services using both networks. The 5G infrastructure can be accessible to anyone at a much faster pace, enabling the community to help build and use the Helium network, especially in hard-to-reach places."

Dan Thygesen, senior vice president of T-Mobile Wholesale and head of T-Mobile's growing wholesale business, announces:

"We believe Helium Mobile is pursuing a very nascent and exciting market segment. T-Mobile is excited to support Nova Labs' innovation in this new cryptocurrency-powered space, enabling their mobility on the largest, fastest, and most reliable 5G network in the country."
